Makeup Essentials

Hello everyone! Do you have a set of makeup that you use on a daily basis? I do! It's like my go to makeup and I love every single one of it. I thought I'd make this blog cause I got a new makeup bag from Sephora so it'll be fun to show you guys what's inside. So let's begin.

I'm a liquid foundation type of girl so I love splurging on a good one. The Vitalumiere Aqua ($45 USD) by Chanel is one of my top favorite foundation because it gives you a dewy finish and I'm all about looking glowy. It also has SPF 15 which is good but not enough so I still have to use a separate sunscreen with SPF 50 for my base. It also comes in this very sleek packaging which is travel friendly that's why I chose to put this in my makeup bag instead of my Le Teint Touche Éclat by YSL which comes in a glass bottle

Next is this Multi-Action Concealer ($37 USD) by YSL which is super amazing because it does not crease bad throughout the day and it matches my skin very well. Sometimes on a good day, I just use this alone without foundation and it gives me a natural look.

Next in my bag is this Touche Éclat ($41 USD) highlighter by YSL which I like to call the miracle wand because whenever I use this on the inner corners of my eyes I just look so alive. I also use this on the bridge of my nose to make it appear taller and on my cheek bones for a complete fresh look. This is a total must have and I use it religiously.

Happy Skin Haul

Hello everyone! Today's haul is very exciting for me because I finally got a hold of this beautiful brand from the Philippines which is Happy Skin! It's exciting because I'm in the US and it's not available for purchase here and I've been dreaming to use their products cause I've heard so much good things about it and when I found out that Kris Aquino collaborated with them, Oh I want it even more! And so when my mother went to the Philippines I just had to grab that opportunity and gave her a list of what I want. And now they're here! And I can't wait to tell you guys how it worked for me so let's begin.

Let's start with the Don't Get Mad, Get Even Hydrating Liquid Foundation (P999) which is amazing even I've only used it for a short period of time but at this point I could already tell that it doesn't irritate my very sensitive skin and it doesn't make me look cakey at all. I put it early in the morning and by afternoon I still have a flawless look on me. It goes on very smooth and is very buildable. I like how it makes me look like as if I'm not wearing makeup but I still have this sheer glow on my face. I also like the packaging which I think is very cute and whimsical.

Next is this Second Skin Creme which is a Silicone Free Foundation (P1,199) and what I've highly noticed about this product is that the longer you wear it, the better it looks on your skin, t's like it creates this diffuse glow effect. I don't recommend napping while wearing makeup but I was just so tired from work today and I took a nap and when I woke up I looked in the mirror and I was so amused. My skin was glowing and It looked like I just applied a fresh layer of foundation on. It's amazing how this product works and I highly recommend it.

Eye Need A Miracle (P699) is a wonderful concealer that is so creamy, very blendable and does not make you look like you put a white cast under your eyes. It's almost similar to The Great Cover Up by em Cosmetics and works pretty much the same. I've also used it today as a highlighter and it's amazing what this product can do. I'd definitely repurchase this but it's not gonna be anytime soon because you only need so little amount of this and it's a good amount of product.

Next stop, the Don't Get Mad, Get Even Hydrating Powder Foundation (P1,299) which is also a nice product and just like the liquid foundation, it has an amazing staying power cause I've used it the other day with the Eye Need A Miracle concealer and it gave me a flawless look all day long. I'd probably use this product alone more on summer time which is coming very soon.

Natural Remedy for Headache

Hello everyone! Today, I'll be sharing with you my natural remedy for headache. I've been getting them so often these days for reasons that I don't know. But here's the thing, I am highly allergic to Tylenol and a whole lot of other pain relievers so technically, I cannot take medicines. But one day I had a bad headache at work and I told one of my co workers about it and she suggested something to me I would not think of using, she asked me to try the peppermint oil.

And so I researched about it and came across this brand called Aura Cacia (Peppermint Oil $7.39 USD 15 ml) which happens to be sold at my local grocery store. I immediately bought one and rub it on my temples and put it around my hairline. What it does is that it gives you an immediate cooling and soothing sensation and it relaxes your muscles. Few minutes after, I was already feeling a little bit of relief.

But it doesn't end there, not only it can effectively lessen your headache, it is also known to help with stress, indigestion, colds/congestion, sore muscles and can even help you improve concentration and alertness. Believe me, it work wonders.

So if you are someone who is highly allergic to pain relievers like me or maybe someone who is just looking for an alternative natural remedy, try peppermint oil and let it help you ease that pain.

Thank you for reading my blog and have a wonderful day everyone.
