Natural Ways to Remove Eye Makeup

Hello everyone! It's Monday again so I'm back for another blog. Don't you just love putting on a complete eye makeup look? They say that the eyes are the windows to your soul so gotta keep them nice and pretty. But don't you just hate it when you can't completely remove it at the end of the day? Oh I struggle with that all the time and I always end up having panda eyes the next day. And so I've been asking people about tips on how they remove their eye makeup. So here's what I've gathered.

Did you know that instead of buying those expensive makeup remover that you can actually find a cheaper alternative that you probably might already own. Like our first one here which is:

1. MILK
Just put a little bit of it on a round or flat cotton and gently swipe it on your eyes. You'll find this super easy to do, plus cold milk is very soothing. Give it a try and let me know what you think about it. And if you're wondering if what milk to use or does it really matter if you use organic milk for this? I say, just use any milk you have as long as it's not yet expired and you're good to go!

2. VIRGIN OLIVE OIL
Virgin olive oil is I think the most natural way to remove your eye makeup and works pretty much the same as baby oil. You can find this just right in your kitchen or if you don't own one, you can definitely find it in your local grocery store. It's also said that it is packed with antioxidants and is a good moisturizer but I don't really recommend you putting this all over your skin just because there are far more better ways to moisturize.

3. STEAM
I also did a little research and most of them highly recommend using steam to remove not just eye makeup but every makeup that you put on your face because what it does is that it opens up your pores and this means that it will be easier for you to remove all of your makeup with just the use of your cleanser. This method is something that I want to try in the future because it is also a good way to remove unwanted white/black heads.

But when you still end up having a little bit of your makeup on your eyes the next day just think about this and I quote "Yesterday's Mascara is Today's Eyeliner!". - Kristen :p

So that's it for my blog this week. I made it nice and short because I'm currently sick from stomach flu and I've just not been feeling very well and I was advised to have lots of bed rest so I just sneaked a little to use the laptop to give you guys my weekly (Monday) dose of blog. I hope you guys learned something today. And I would also like to thank Kristen for being my model and taking time to do this literally 15 minute shoot with me few days ago.

Thank you for reading my blog and I hope you guys have a wonderful day. Stay healthy everyone.
xxoo,
Hyacinth
